In order to achieve greater progress with Indonesia, Daewoong Indonesia made a strategic movement to promote Indonesia as the base of biosimilar drugs production center in the world and to realize this strategy, we are currently doing Academic Cooperation with several universities and Universitas Indonesia is one of them, in establishing Bio Technology Research & Development Center (Bio Technology R & D Center) and we also contributed to the education through transfer of Bio technology related science and also provide scholarships for outstanding students at the Universitas Indonesia.
This 35,000 USD scholarship is awarded by Daewoong Foundation for Faculty of Pharmacy students and other Faculties who study Bio-Technology. The allocation for this scholarship is 35 (thirty five) students with details of 20 (twenty) students from the Faculty of Pharmacy and 15 (fifteen) students from other Faculties.
Through this active Open Collaboration between Daewoong, Government and Universities, we expected to develop biosimilar drug products with excellent quality and reasonable price, and can also undertake various research projects in the social environment of Indonesian society so as to contribute to the development of biosimilar drug industry in Indonesia.
