In order to achieve greater progress with Indonesia, Daewoong Indonesia made a strategic movement to promote Indonesia as the base of medicines production center in the world and to realize this strategy, we are currently doing Academic Cooperation with several universities and Universitas Indonesia is one of them, in contribute to the education by providing scholarships for outstanding students.

This 35,000 USD scholarship is awarded by Daewoong Foundation for UI’s Faculty of Pharmacy students and other related faculty. The allocation for this scholarship is 35 (thirty five) students.

Through this active Open Collaboration between Daewoong and Universities, we expected to develop the experts whose ready to work and develop medicine products with excellent quality, and can also may contribute to the development of health sector and medicine industry in Indonesia.

The scholarhips is given by the representative of Daewoong Indonesia, Yang Woong Yeol as a Chief of Representative of Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Lee Jihyun as a General Manager, Abraham Simon, S.H., LL.M. as a Legal Affairs Manager and Lee Eui Nam as a Head of Research UI-Daewoong witnessed by UI’s Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Mahdi Jufri, M.Si., Apt., in the Granting Ceremony Daewoong Scholarship 2018 which held on May 15, 2018, at UI’s Center Administration Building.
